The Iceman Cometh

I saw Kevin twice in London in Iceman.  The first at The Almeida Theatre was exciting because it was a very small theatre and you felt very much a part of what was going on on the stage.  The second time at The Old Vic was a bit different as things had been changed slightly.  The stage and theatre are much bigger.  On both occasions, I felt that Kevin was as good as the rest of the actors on the stage.  He didn't upstage them or carry them.  They were all superb.  He certainly has a charisma and magnetism which comes across strongly.  I was at The Old Vic on the last night and felt privileged to hear his off the cuff thank you speech to the theatre, the audience and London in general.  I hope he doesn't take too long to revisit.
